Heroes were honored in Turkmenistan and large families were given the keys to new apartments

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree awarding the honorary title of Turkmenistan "Ene mähri" to women who have given birth and raised eight or more children.
In Turkmenistan, every year on the eve of International Women's Day, heroic mothers are awarded the honorary title "Ene mähri" ("Maternal love").
The current decree of the head of state also noted that the document was adopted as a sign of special respect for the mother woman "as a shrine, guardian of the family hearth, which is the basis for the healthy development of Turkmen society, taking into account the outstanding achievements of our high-spirited mothers in the upbringing of a worthy young generation, designed to ensure a happy future of the sovereign Motherland."
On Thursday, March 7, ceremonies were held in Ashgabat honoring mothers who were awarded the honorary title of "Ene mähri" and handing keys to new comfortable apartments to large families.
