Meeting with Turkmen students in Tbilisi
On 7 March 2024, Ambassador D.Seyitmammedov met with Turkmen students studying in higher educational institutions of Georgia and citizens of Turkmenistan in the premises of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia.
The event was dedicated to the extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on 9 February 2024 and to the Meeting of the Presidium of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, which was held on 22 February 2024 under the chairmanship of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
During the meeting, the Ambassador touched upon the issues related to the successful implementation of the “Program of socio-economic development of Turkmenistan and investments in 2024”, the Plan of forthcoming works and activities to implement this Program in the main areas of activity of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan.
The achievements of the country in political, economic, cultural and social spheres were noted, the implementation of the current directions of the country’s foreign policy in the fields of energy, transport, ecology, the main tasks on the improvement of the national legislation and other issues were considered.
The Ambassador stressed that under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan, the consistent implementation of large-scale reforms covering all spheres of life of the state and society is continuing. At the same time, special attention is paid to young people, the future of an independent, neutral Turkmenistan.
