Women of Turkmenistan were presented with flowers and gifts on behalf of the President
These days, throughout Turkmenistan, representatives of the fair half of society - from kindergarten pupils to women of respectable age, workers of enterprises, institutions and organizations, regardless of the form of ownership, as well as those who study at school or university, colleges or technical schools, in graduate school or doctoral studies - everyone, without exception, was presented with flowers and cash awards in a solemn atmosphere in honor of International Women's Day on behalf and under instruction of the President of Turkmenistan.
An ORIENT correspondent attended such celebrations that took place in the Turkmenaragatnashyk, motor transport and railways agencies.
The participants of the ceremonies, in a warm homely atmosphere, congratulated their female colleagues on the wonderful spring holiday.
Many pleasant words and wishes were addressed to the employees of one of the leading departments in the country - the country's transport and communications agency.
And they, in turn, expressed gratitude to the leadership of the country, which creates all the conditions for the women of Turkmenistan to realize their opportunities, and, of course, for the wonderful flowers and gifts that they received on behalf of the President of the country.
