Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Georgia met with the Rector of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University
On 6 March 2024, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Georgia Dovletmyrat Seyitmammedov met with Rector of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) Jaba Samushia.
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of strengthening bilateral cooperation in education, science and culture, as well as expansion of partnership and exchange of experience between the educational institutions of the two countries.
The Ambassador informed the Rector about the events scheduled for this year in connection with the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker and poet of the East Magtymguly Fragi.
Rector J.Samushia expressed readiness for further co-operation and noted that holding joint events will contribute to the strengthening of cultural and humanitarian ties and friendship between the two countries and peoples.
