More than $107 million worth of deals were concluded at the SCRMET on-site auctions, half of which fell on the Afghan business


On Tuesday, March 5, the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan held on-site auctions at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where business events are taking place these days with the participation of a large delegation of Afghanistan, a permanent participant in transactions at the SCRMET. The products of petrochemical, textile and agricultural complexes, as well as construction materials were put up for auction.

In total, 71 exchange transactions were concluded at the CCI during the trading session. Goods worth more than 107 million US dollars were sold and more than 33 million manats were sold for the national currency.

Members of the Afghan delegation actively participated in the auction: representatives of 51 companies in this country made 29 exchange transactions worth more than $ 58 million.

The geography of buyers also includes the UAE, Turkey, the Virgin Islands, Scotland, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. The subjects of the deals were ECO-93 gasoline, Jet A-1 jet fuel, lighting kerosene, road bitumen, carbamide, polypropylene, Portland cement, float sheet glass, cotton fabrics and handmade Turkmen carpets.
