Turkmen and Afghan companies concluded 16 deals worth more than $7.7 million


At the Turkmen-Afghan business forum, which was held in Ashgabat on March 4-5, one memorandum and 16 agreements were signed between Turkmen and Afghan private companies. The total amount of export contracts amounted to more than 7 million 721 thousand US dollars.

Half of these transactions were concluded for the sale of confectionery products from such well-known brands in our country as “Hasar”, “Owadan ülke”, “Altyn şöhle”, “Täze aý” and “Asuda ülkäm”, ORIENT correspondent reports.

Other product items include polypropylene bags and motor oils, mung bean, Saradzhin wool, multifilament polypropylene threads, etc.

The sellers were 9 Turkmen companies - members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the country, and the buyers were 11 Afghan companies.
