4G stimulates internet demand
In the year that is being held in our country under the motto “The Fount of the Mind of Magtymguly Fragi,” the tasks of developing the national communications industry are being successfully solved. JSC "Altyn Asyr" is implementing innovative projects to provide the population with mobile and Internet communications.
Currently, the closed joint stock company “Altyn Asyr” is gradually putting into operation transmitting and receiving stations operating according to the 4G standard on the territory of Turkmenistan. The company has already installed and put into operation 4G stations in Ahal velayat: in Tedzhen, Kaakhka, Geokdepe, Bakharden, Sarah etraps, Babadaihan and Ak Bugday etraps;
In the Balkan velayat: in the cities of Turkmenbashi, Balkanabat, Gumdag, Khazar, Magtymguly, Serdar, Bereket, Etrek, Esenguli etraps;
In Dashoguz velayat: in the city of Dashoguz, etraps of Gorogly, Gubadag, Shabat, Akdepe, Gurbansoltan eje, Boldumsaz, Kunyaurgench and Turkmenbashi;
In Mary velayat: in the city of Mary, etraps of Bayramali, Vekilbazar, Mary, Murgab, Turkmengala, Sakarchaga, Karakum, Yolotan, Takhtabazar and Serkhetabad;
In Lebap velayat: in the city of Turkmenabat and Danev etrap.
Currently, work continues on the installation of 4G stations in the Chardzhev, Sayat, Khalach, Kerki, Koytendag, Khojambaz, Farab, Darganata etraps and the Dovletli etrap of the Lebap velayat.
The tasks set by the head of state to improve the quality and capacity of communication services, introduce modern technologies into the industry, expand the range and ensure accessibility of services provided to the population based on best international experience are being successfully accomplished.
