Toyota is testing special filters that absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. The filters will appear in the front part of the body of the new version of the Toyota GR Corolla.

All processes are carried out by using heat from a heated engine.

The innovation will allow Toyota to continue to use internal combustion engines with their emissions into the atmosphere, reducing harm to the environment by taking part of the emissions back during their operation.

These steps have been taken by Toyota as part of the decarbonization of the automotive industry. Thus, according to the list of the most environmentally friendly cars compiled by the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (AEEE), Toyota dominates the list: 6 models from the top 12 are produced by the Japanese company and its subsidiary brand Lexus.
