Ways to develop tourism in Turkmenistan are on the agenda of the international forum on March 27-28
The international conference “Main directions and potential for tourism development in Turkmenistan” will be held on March 27-28. Deputy Prime Minister Myahrijemal Mammedova informed about the forum program at a government meeting on Friday.
Leaders and representatives of specialized international structures, leading tourism associations and companies from a number of countries are invited to participate. Foreign delegates will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the city of Arkadag, unique historical and cultural monuments, museums, and, in general, the tourism potential of Turkmenistan.
Guests will also take part in the festive inauguration of the city of Anau as the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024, these celebrations start on March 26.
Business events and workshops, and bilateral meetings are planned on the sidelines of the tourism conference itself. It is expected that contracts and cooperation agreements will be concluded between market players.
