Issues of demarcation of the Turkmen-Uzbek border were discussed in Turkmenabat

The next meeting of the working groups of the Joint Uzbek-Turkmen Demarcation Commission was held in Turkmenabat from February 21 to 27.

The continuation of joint work on the demarcation of the State border between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan is taking place in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding.

Following the results of the event, a corresponding protocol was signed, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan reported.

The previous meeting of the members of the Turkmen-Uzbek demarcation commission was held in September 2023 in Nukus.

Turkmenistan has the longest border with Uzbekistan - 1620 km.
