The Minister of Energy of Pakistan and the Ambassador of Turkmenistan discussed the progress of the TAPI project


On Tuesday, Interim Federal Energy Minister Muhammad Ali and Ambassador of Turkmenistan Atajan Movlamov discussed the progress of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) project.
During the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction with the progress of the project, Associated Press Of Pakistan reports, citing a press release from the department.
The minister said Pakistan pays special attention to pipeline gas and considers it vital to meet the country's energy needs.
At the meeting, areas of cooperation in the energy sector between Ashgabat and Islamabad were discussed.
In addition, the Ambassador extended an invitation to a roadshow that Turkmenistan will hold in Paris in April. The event will be dedicated to attracting investment in the energy sector.
