On February 21, as part of the implementation of the BOMCA 10 Program, the Training Center of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan received specialized training equipment and ICT equipment for a total amount of 9, 620.94 euros.

Special equipment corresponding to the latest technical solutions for checking cars and trucks will be used during practical training at the training center and will strengthen the skills and competencies of customs officers to conduct effective inspections at border posts in order to identify illegally transported goods, weapons, drugs and other prohibited items.

In addition, BOMСA 10 provided a set of educational equipment - an interactive whiteboard, projectors, screens and tablets - for use in the educational process, as well as for distance learning.

These assets were acquired under Component 3 of the BOMCA 10 Program “Facilitating legitimate trade flows across borders” with the specific purpose of strengthening the capacity of customs, veterinary and phytosanitary training institutions.
