On Day of the Photographer at Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy (VDNH) in Moscow displayed rare photos about Turkmenistan


Rare photos about Turkmenistan by famous photographer Yury Budakov were displayed on July 12 on Day of the Photographer at the Main exhibition of the Russian Federation - VDNH.
In the century of mass hobby for photo, after all, almost all have gadgets with cameras today, Day of the photographer becomes the most mass holiday. Today, when all photograph all and everything, the most important thing is to try to teach people basics of photographing. Therefore on Day of the Photographer at VDNH free lectures and master classes on photos, competition for the best pictures were organized and also the new thematic gallery in the Media library of the VDNH Museum was presented.
These are unique archival photos of famous master Yury Budakov who, in post-war years about 30 years worked at the Exhibition as the regular press photographer.
On the instructions of VDNH he travelled across the USSR and abroad where made hundreds of photos which were displayed at the Exhibition later. At the end of 2019 son of Yury Budakov Roman donated to the VDNH Museum negatives of the father with the full archival documentation.
Experts of the museum and the library of the Exhibition studied them, and by July 12 a part of documents were published as separate gallery in the Media library. It also included rare photos from trips to
Turkmenistan.
