The program of socio-economic development of Turkmenistan for 2024 has been approved
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved an annual program for socio- economic development and investments in Turkmenistan at a government meeting on Friday.
Deputy Prime Minister Hojamyrat Geldimyradov reported on the preparation of the document. The program was developed jointly with ministries, sectoral departments, regional administrations, the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, in accordance with the main tasks outlined in the seven-year Presidential program and according to the State Budget-2024.
It reflects production plans for all sectors and expected macroeconomic indicators this year, specifies indicators of socio-economic development and the volume of capital investments by region, the capital and the city of Arkadag, outlines measures to improve the level of social and living conditions of the population, increase exports, develop digital and "green" economy, support small and medium-sized businesses etc.
