Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated Ilham Aliyev on his convincing victory in the presidential elections in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The President of Turkmenistan noted that the voting results indicate a high level of trust and support by the Azerbaijani people for the course pursued by Ilham Aliyev, aimed at strengthening statehood and the socio-economic development of the country.
“I am confident that this important event will contribute to the further development of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the improvement of the well-being of its citizens,” the message published on the website of the Azerbaijani leader says.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the effective nature of fraternal relations between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan and expressed gratitude for Ilham Aliyev’s personal attention and great support in the development of good neighborly relations between our countries.
The head of Turkmenistan wished his colleague health, happiness and success in his responsible activities as the head of state, and to the brotherly people of Azerbaijan-peace, wellbeing and prosperity.
