The presentation of the book by the President of Turkmenistan «Ýaşlar – watanyň daýanjy» took place in Kazan
On February 08, 2024, in Kazan, with the organization of the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation (Kazan), a presentation of the book by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov «Ýaşlar – watanyň daýanjy» was held.
The event was held on the walls of Kazan State Medical University. More than 200 students from Turkmenistan attended the presentation of the book.
Representatives of the consular institution of Turkmenistan stressed that one of the priorities of Turkmenistan's state policy is to take care of the younger generation. This is evidenced by both the legislative base of the country and the ongoing youth projects, which were noted in detail by the distinguished President of Turkmenistan in his book «Ýaşlar – watanyň daýanjy» (Youth is the backbone of our nation).
Under the close attention of the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, to youth policy in the country, last year in Turkmenistan was declared the year of "Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar".
The book of the esteemed President "Youth is the backbone of our nation" has become a real gift and a guide for young people from Turkmenistan. It is worth emphasizing that this book is the first book by Serdar Gurbangulyevich Berdimuhamedov as President of Turkmenistan, which in turn indicates the personal high attention of the Head of the country to the Turkmen youth.
The President notes in his book that he regularly makes notes in his diary about his thoughts and visions related to the history, present and future of the Turkmen people, as well as about the accumulated ideas from the first days of his post as President of the country. In this regard, the President notes that he came up with the idea of writing a book to share his thoughts with readers.
And the fact that the Head of State devoted his first book to youth issues confirms the close attention of the President of Turkmenistan to youth policy.
It was also conveyed to the audience of the presentation that the President of the country in his book puts the feeling of patriotism and love for the Motherland at the head of the personal qualities of the Turkmen youth.
In this regard, it was noted that students, being outside their homeland, can show their love for it in various ways, including through the ability to adequately represent the customs and culture of the Turkmen people among representatives of other nations, through decent education to make their contribution to the relevant branch of the country in the future, through regular monitoring of news from the country, participation in educational, scientific, cultural and sports events held in the country, and others.
It was noted that the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan operates in Turkmenistan, and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan is also engaged in youth policy. The country has adopted the "State Program of Turkmenistan's State Policy on Youth for 2021-2025" and the "Strategy of International Youth Cooperation of Turkmenistan for 2023-2030".
Every year, such major youth competitions as «Ýaş alymlaryň bäsleşigi», «Talyp joşguny», «Berkarar döwletiň merdana gerçekleri», «Talyp gözeli», «Ýylyň talyby», «Berkarar döwletiň ylham joşguny» and others are held.
It was emphasized that every year a large number of Turkmen youth are invited to the meeting of the country's highest representative body, the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan. In addition, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov himself regularly holds meetings with the youth of Turkmenistan.
Today, professional youth movements are beginning to be introduced in all ministries and departments of the country, which, with their bright and fresh ideas, will contribute to the development of the country.
For example, 32 percent of the deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan are young people under the age of 35, of whom 19 percent are female. In this regard, great importance is attached to the interaction of Turkmen young parliamentarians with young parliamentarians from other countries.
It was also stressed that the latest kindergartens, schools, higher education institutions, sports facilities and others are being built in the country for the well-being of young people. The country's youth enjoy various benefits in terms of housing, bank loans, tax payments by youth enterprises, and others.
Summing up the presentation, the Turkmen diplomats once again emphasized that caring for young people and supporting their initiatives is one of the priorities of Turkmenistan's policy, successfully pursued by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
