Such an annual increase in salaries is provided by improving the structure of organizations, increasing the efficiency of using productive capacities and labor productivity of employees, attracting unused internal reserves. As for the types of economic activity, the greatest number of workers, as many years in a row, is seen in the education system, which also shows one of the highest salaries. The second place by the number of employees is occupied by the health sector. Following them are processing industries, construction and transport sector. The highest salary is in the mining industry and quarrying (1,814.2 manat). In the context of regions, the average wage is higher in the Balkan velayat. In this regard, the coastal region, with its developed oil and gas production, international transport hubs and a new tourist cluster with the status of a free economic zone, has outstripped even the capital.
