The World Conference “Digital Education 2024” discussed prospects for the development of this sphere
On January 29-31, the World Conference “Digital Education 2024” was held in Shanghai (PRC).
The global forum was attended by more than 800 delegates from 70 countries, including 20 educational leaders, as well as a delegation from the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the Turkmenaragatnashyk Agency.
The main goal of the conference organizers is to bring education to a new level of development by introducing advanced technologies into the field.
The transformation of digital education at the international level first of all guarantees equitable access to high-quality education, and also contributes to the implementation of the UN SDGs.
The importance of studying the Chinese experience and developing relations with China in this direction was emphasized.
During the conference, representatives of the People's Republic of China noted the importance of bringing diverse and multilateral cooperation to a higher level in order to develop digital education on a global scale.
Within the framework of the forum, the created World Alliance for Digital Education officially began to function. The main activity of the alliance is the development of cooperation and the unification of advanced higher education institutions in the field of digital education. Also, the participants discussed issues related to the development of artificial intelligence.
The conference participants said that China's digital education sphere will actively study the best practices of representatives from other countries and implement new practices to contribute to building a digital education society.
