Ashgabat Prosecutor dismissed for improper performance of duties

By his decree, the President of Turkmenistan dismissed the Adviser to Justice Ovezmammet Shihmamedov from the post of prosecutor of the city of Ashgabat.
The reason for the dismissal in the document is "improper performance of official duties and serious shortcomings in the work." This was reported in the news release of the Turkmen State Television on Friday evening.
In mid-January, the President of Turkmenistan replaced the country's Prosecutor General, appointing Begmyrat Muhamedov to this post.
