The Iranian province is waiting for a return visit from Mary to develop commercial ties
The administration of the Iranian province of Khorasan Razavi, after the visit of its governor to the Mary region of Turkmenistan last week, formed a committee on cooperation between the two border regions, which provides for the participation of representatives on economic issues from both sides.
According to regional Iranian media, the heads of the Turkmen Energy Institute, Taze Ay Company and other representatives of the region neighboring Iran have been invited to Khorasan Razavi to develop these relations.
It is noted that during the upcoming negotiations on the development of commercial ties between Khorasan Razavi and Mary, special attention will be paid to the energy sector, as well as the livestock sector, support for cooperation and investments in the field of technical and engineering services.
At the same time, the possibilities of developing trade relations through Turkmenistan and with other Central Asian countries, increasing transit, including along the North-South corridor, are being considered.
