Confirmation of the international recognition of the poet-thinker's work is the announcement of 2024 by the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) on the initiative of Turkmenistan as the "Year of the Great Poet and Thinker of the Turkic World, as well as the inclusion of the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Pyragy in the UNESCO List of Significant Dates in 2024-2025.
