The parliaments of Turkmenistan and Malaysia are preparing an exchange of visits
Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Malaysia Muhammetniyaz Mashalov met on Wednesday, January 24, with Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Malaysia Tan Sri Dato' Johari Abdul.
During the meeting, the role of the parliamentary friendship group created between the Mejlis of Turkmenistan and the Parliament of Malaysia was emphasized as one of the important tools for strengthening cooperation between the two countries, the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives confirmed his intention to visit Turkmenistan this year. In this context, the parties were unanimous in the opinion that the upcoming mutual visits will contribute to expanding the dialogue between the two countries.
