The governor of the Iranian province of Khorasan Razavi paid a business visit to Mary
An Iranian delegation consisting of private sector managers and executive officials headed by Razavi Yagub Ali Nazari, Governor of Khorasan Province, visited Mary region of Turkmenistan and got acquainted with its economic potential and infrastructure.
The Governor met with the leadership of the Mary region and discussed with him the possibilities and ways to expand trade cooperation. The sides also exchanged views on cooperation in the industrial, agricultural, transport, tourism, scientific and medical sectors, IRNA reports.
Special attention was paid to the implementation of bilateral agreements and provisions of the memorandum of understanding between the two border regions on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation, signed during the visit of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Tehran in June 2022.
The visit of representatives of the private and public sectors of Khorasan Razavi to Mary began on Tuesday this week, and after visiting and holding talks in this area, the Iranian delegation went to Ashgabat.
