Researches of Margiana became a theme of the international webinar

The webinar with participation of scientists of Turkmenistan, France, Italy, Great Britain, Russia, Afghanistan, China and Uzbekistan, official representatives of Turkmen and French sides and also employees of the diplomatic mission of the Republic of France in Ashgabat, a platform for speeches and a dialogue of all of those who not by hearsay are familiar with the latest archaeological discoveries made in Margiana. The action has been organised by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in France together with the Turkmen-French archaeological mission «MAFTUR». Speakers of the webinar noted a big role of joint international archaeological expeditions in studying the ancient civilisation of Margiana - civilisation which is possible and is necessary to put in one number with such cultural oases of the past as Ancient Egypt, Ancient China, the Indian civilisation and Mesopotamia. In the joint discussion employees of UNESCO, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France and Louvre Museum whose representatives expressed hope that Turkmenistan and France will manage to organise in the main French museum an exhibition of the artefacts found in Gonur-Depe and Ulug-Depe in the next years.
