"Turkmengeology" is searching for deposits of drinking water
Specialists of the State Corporation “Turkmengeology” are conducting prospecting work to identify deposits of drinking water in the territories of the country’s regions. Modern technologies and equipment are used in groundwater exploration, Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Amanov reported on this at a Cabinet meeting on Friday.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the relevance of the tasks of hydrogeologists in searching for deposits of drinking water, emphasizing the importance of scientific support for this activity and speaking out for strengthening its material and technical component.
Water issues were also covered in the report of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Tangriguly Atahalliyev, who reported on the measures taken to create additional water reserves in reservoirs for irrigating crops.
