Serdar Berdimuhamedov promoted heads of law enforcement agencies


President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the country's Armed Forces, Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov, awarded titles to the heads of a number of military and law enforcement agencies, taking into account their personal contribution to strengthening the independence and sovereignty of the country, ensuring security, public and legal order.
The corresponding decrees were signed at an extended off-site meeting of the State Security Council dedicated to the results of 2023, as reported in the news release of the Turkmen State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.
Thus, chairman of the State Migration Service, Lieutenant Colonel Amanmuhammet Sazakov, was awarded the military rank of colonel.
Chairman of the State Customs Service Maksat Khudaykulyev, Minister of National Security Nazar Atagarayev, Head of the State Border Service Yazgeldi Nuryev, Minister of Internal Affairs Muhammet Khydyrov were promoted from colonel to major general.
Minister of Justice Merettagan Taganov was awarded the 3rd qualification class of State Counselor of Justice.
At the meeting, it was announced the dismissal of Serdar Myalikgulyev from the post of Prosecutor General and the appointment of Begmurat Mukhamedov as head of the General Prosecutor's Office of Turkmenistan.
