Once upon a time, it was a place that hosted numerous caravan routes and merchants who were coming from all over the world, as well as the place, where famous scholars and poets lived and worked. In addition, participants in the cultural forum visited the mausoleum of the great scientist, philosopher and writer of the 11th-12th centuries, Mahmud Zamakhshari, which is located near the Izmukshir fortress. Guests were able to get acquainted with the life story of the philosopher, to get admired by the fortress walls, fragments of mud towers and protective ditches that once surrounded the citadel.  Children’s concert program was organized on the shore of Lake of Yashlyk. The kids were delighted the event and enjoyed a lot by performance of the popular artist Ashyrmurad Gurbanov as the children are adored for the artist.
