The second well at the Yylan field in the Mary region produced an industrial flow of gas

On New Year's Eve, drillers of the State Concern "Turkmengas" received an industrial influx of natural gas from appraisal well No. 2 at the Yylan field in the Mary region.
According to the previously approved plan, specialists carried out research work on the wells of three new gas fields - Sherepli, Kelleli, Yylan.
Thanks to high-quality work carried out on development and appraisal wells, an industrial influx of natural gas was obtained. In particular, at well No. 2 of the Yilan field, at a depth of 2852–2856 meters, a steady influx of natural gas of industrial importance was recorded.
From this well, according to experts, more than 820 thousand cubic meters of “blue” fuel are extracted daily, an important advantage of which is the absence of hydrogen sulfide in its composition, which promises high profitability of products made from this gas, the industry web resource Nebit-gaz reports.
In the spring of 2023, production and appraisal well No. 1 of the Yylan field produced an industrial influx of natural gas from a depth of 2970 meters. Its daily flow is 991.6 thousand cubic meters.
