A meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the Ambassador of Kazakhstan


Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Akhmet Kurbanov met on Tuesday, January 9, with Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Ashgabat Askar Tajibayev.
“The parties discussed the prospects for strengthening relations between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan across a wide range of bilateral cooperation,” the Turkmen Foreign Ministry said in a press release.
In particular, the progress in the practical implementation of bilateral agreements reached during the high-level visits and plans for the development of Turkmen-Kazakh relations for 2024 were reviewed. In this context, the importance of inter-MFA consultations was noted, as well as the need to organize bilateral visits and contacts at the highest level.
The parties spoke in favor of strengthening inter-parliamentary dialogue and holding regular meetings and consultations between parliamentarians of the two countries.
Positive experience of cooperation and mutual support within the framework of authoritative international organizations, including the OSCE, UN, OIC and others, was stated.
