Dashoguz Music-and-Drama Theater prepares a premiere for the Week of Culture
The company of actors of the Dashoguz Music-and-Drama Theater named after Nurmuhammed Andalib is preparing to perform a stage reading of the heroic epic art of Gorogly, which was inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2015.
As director Bekmurad Hallyev said, the premiere of the play will take place as part of the Week of Culture that to kick-off on Monday, June 22, in Dashoguz.
- In our performance, stage masters and young actors are involved. We would not look ahead, but expect to impress the audience with the depth of drama, brightness of the images, musical and poetic basis, as well as the peculiar interpretation of the epic.
“The main message of the performance is to convey the importance of the spiritual unity of generations, friendly relations with fraternal peoples, honor and duty, moral purity and dignity of a person,” Bekmurad Hallyev added.
