Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan increased by 73%
In January-November 2023, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan amounted to 738 million 966 thousand US dollars. This figure is quoted by the Azeri-Press Agency (APA), referring to the report of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.
According to the state department, the volume of this indicator increased by 73% or $ 311.8 million compared to the corresponding period last year. Thus, in January-November 2022, the volume of trade between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan amounted to 427 million US dollars.
It is also reported that during the reporting period, the volume of exports from Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan increased 4 times to $ 77.3 million, and the volume of exports from Turkmenistan to Azerbaijan increased by 62.4% to $ 661.6 million.
