The Deputy Minister of Education of the People's Republic of China visited Ashgabat on a working visit
Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myakhri Byashimova met on Thursday, December 28, with Deputy Minister of Education of the People's Republic of China Sun Yao, who is in Ashgabat on a working visit.
During the meeting, the parties noted that relations between Turkmenistan and China in the field of education tend to develop fruitfully, as evidenced by numerous exchanges between universities, joint conferences, seminars, forums and exhibitions.
Issues of strengthening interaction on personnel training, exchange of specialists, educational and consulting events in the field of cybersecurity were discussed. The intention was also expressed to regularly conduct short-term and long-term research and educational programs, courses and lectures in such areas as medicine, agriculture, ecology, nanotechnology, political science and others, the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.
The interlocutors expressed confidence that the current visit of the delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Education of the People's Republic of China will fill the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the field of education with new content and will serve as an impetus for strengthening ties between higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and China.
