Multinational automobile manufacturer Mercedes-Benz will mark cars in autopilot mode with turquoise lights.

To do this, the company has developed the Drive Pilot system, one of the functions of which is responsible for identifying cars in autopilot mode among other road users.

This will allow drivers and pedestrians to take appropriate safety measures.

The choice of blue color is explained by the fact that it differs from the usual colors that are used by drivers to regulate traffic.

At the initial stage, the Drive Pilot system will be tested in the American states of California and Nevada.
