An interdepartmental commission on aviation security has been created in Turkmenistan
The President of Turkmenistan signed a resolution on the creation of an interdepartmental commission on civil aviation security, approving the composition of the new commission and its Regulations.
This decision is aimed at preventing illegal interference in the activities of the country’s civil aviation and coordinating actions in this direction, as reported in the news release of the Turkmen State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.
As Director General of the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers, Mammetkhan Chakyev, informed, presenting the document at a government meeting on Friday, December 22, in accordance with the Air Code of Turkmenistan, the Law “On Vehicle Safety”, as well as with the standards, experience and practices of the International Organization of the civil aviation (ICAO), it was carried out work to ensure a high level of safety, stability and efficiency of flights, and to prepare regulations in this area.
