Dashoguz gets ready to host Week of Culture-2020
Turkmenistan prepares for the Week of Culture which this year will be held in Dashoguz region from June 22 to June 27. Within the framework of the Week, Day of Art Workers and Poetry of Mahtumkuli Firāghī will be celebrated.
During the festival action in northern region of the country creative actions - concerts, evenings of poetry, film screenings, exhibitions, conferences, dramatized programs will be held. The national music and drama theatre named after Mahtumkuli will present the first night of the opera «Nejep oglan» based on the national dastan under the same title.
The award ceremony of art workers, honorary titles of Turkmenistan and presentation with awards to winners of the creative competition for the award of the President of the country becomes one of the central events of the Week.
As it has become known to ORIENT, at the meeting of the government President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a resolution on the organisation of the Week of culture in 2021 in Lebap region.
