USAID has released a catalog of products of Central Asian craftswomen

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has prepared a catalog "Traveling through the workshops of artisans of Central Asia."
Catalog includes amazing products made by 50 artisans from Central Asian countries — Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The publication is available in both print and online formats.
This, in turn, will open up new opportunities for craftswomen to develop their business around the world.
The catalog is the result of fruitful cooperation between the USAID Program on Trade in Central Asia, the Smithsonian Institution and the Commercial Law Development Program of the U.S. Department of Commerce.
It aims to contribute to the preservation of cultural heritage and the empowerment of women and girls in the region.
The project team also conducted virtual and face-to-face training in needlework marketing strategies.
