The first student Esports Cup of Turkmenistan will be held in the spring of 2024
In the early spring of 2024, the National Electronic Sports Federation of Turkmenistan will hold the first esports Student Cup in the country's history. The tournament "will provide a unique opportunity for students of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions of Turkmenistan to prove themselves in the esports arena, which will certainly affect the formation of the country's student national team and its participation in international student games," according to the federation's website.
Students of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions of Turkmenistan aged 15 and over can take part in the Cup, while the players of the same team must be students of the same educational institution.
The Student Cup will be held in two esports disciplines: Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA), which will be presented by Dota2, and tactical shooter Counter Strike 2.
