Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan will organize a business forum in 2024


In December, the business delegation of Kazakhstan visited Turkmenistan for the second time in a year. During the talks, the parties outlined a number of measures to strengthen cooperation between entrepreneurs of the two countries, including holding joint business forums and other events.
"During the four working days of the business mission organized by the Astana Diplomatic Club with the support of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan, members of the delegation visited the cities of Ashgabat, Mary, Arkadag and Turkmenbashi, got acquainted with the capabilities of Turkmen enterprises, presented the potential of Kazakhstani business, and also outlined promising areas of cooperation and agreed on further development of partnership," - reports "Big Asia".
In the city of Mary, from where the business mission started, representatives of Kazakhstan visited an enterprise for the production of sausage products, confectionery and dairy products, as well as an enterprise engaged in the manufacture of shoes from local raw materials. Kazakh businessmen also held talks with representatives of the Mary regional branch of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET), discussing prospects for cooperation in the field of transport, logistics and agriculture.
Fruitful meetings were held in Ashgabat, the next destination of the business mission. The Turkmen side spoke about the potential of local enterprises and got acquainted with the capabilities of Kazakhstani companies. The parties confirmed their willingness to cooperate, including in the fields of education, information technology, agriculture and the introduction of drip irrigation in horticulture. The meeting participants also agreed to organize a business forum in Ashgabat next year with the participation of Kazakhstani business. The idea of holding an interregional business forum and exhibition in the Avaza tourist area was also considered.
The guests from Kazakhstan also visited the city of Arkadag, which uses innovative technologies in its management, and also presented their capabilities in the field of creating "smart" infrastructure management systems, parking lots, traffic, etc. This area, representatives of neighboring states noted, seems very promising for the development of bilateral cooperation.
