On the birthday of great poet Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin, students of the Joint Turkmen-Russian general education school, which is named after this genius of Russian literature, presented the theatrical production “Pushkin and Art”. The action on the stage of the school assembly hall seemed to have been taking place in the time of the poet of the Golden Age, and the schoolchildren, who have already passed to the 8th “B” grade, played the roles of characters of those distant times when balls and exquisite speech were in fashion. The creative heritage of Alexander Sergeyevich contains inexhaustible spiritual wealth. The poet has become the highest peak of the classic literary for many generations. It was as if he knew a little more about life than anyone else and remained for centuries a visionary, forever young genius who tragically died in the duel. But the hero’s name has long gone down in history. He is remembered not only in his native country. Pushkin is a poet of world significance, and Turkmenistan annually hosts events to commemorate the classic of Russian literature. In Ashgabat, flowers are brought to the bust of Alexander Sergeyevich since the very morning, and the lines from his immortal poems are read. - Alexander Sergeyevich is rightfully considered the founder of the modern Russian literary language, says Yevgeny Beloglazov, the education, science and culture department head at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan. - His famous novel in verse “Eugene Onegin” was called the encyclopedia of the Russian language. And when the International Day of the Russian Language was established by the decision of the United Nations in 2010, it was thenceforth celebrated on June 6, the birthday of the national poet. Pupils of the Joint Turkmen-Russian general education school presented the eloquent language of Pushkin’s poems in the form of congratulations to teachers and classmates on the International Day of Russian Language. Class teacher Anush Hachatryan directed the literary production, having approached with great responsibility the organization of an event such a significant for many people. - We tried to carry the guests of today’s celebration to the time of Alexander Pushkin, show the role and significance of the poet in all fields of art. Indeed, painting, music, and any form of art are somehow related with the name of the outstanding poet, Russian language teacher Anush Hachatryan says. - The role of Pushkin was played by our schoolboy, winner of the International Contest “Living Classics” Sergey Amanov. An honors pupil and participant in school competitions, he is always happy to study rich literary material. The Turkmen-Russian school often holds such cultural events, and representatives of Rossotrudnichestvo in Turkmenistan provide us with great support. This time, star of the Turkmen stage Bahar Durdyyeva, due to her wonderful soprano and sincere presentation, helped to create an atmosphere of Pushkin’s times and feel the deep lyricism of his works which inspired and continue to inspire composers. Speaking about the work of the Federal Agency Rossotrudnichestvo in Turkmenistan, it is impossible to not mention that the organization, represented in many countries of the world, supports and promotes the Russian language. The Agency creates the conditions for its practical application, as well as education in Russian. So, in November last year, Rossotrudnichestvo Director Eleonora Mitrofanova visited Ashgabat and made the proposal to implement joint educational projects . From an interview with Rossotrudnichestvo Deputy Director Mikhail Bryukhanov: - Turkmenistantakes participation in in many projects. And there are really many projects ongoing in all countries. These include theater festivals, for example, the festival of theaters of the CIS countries running in Veliky Novgorod, the project “Our Heroes” and others. Now the priority of Rossotrudnichestvo is to make them modern and interesting.
