«Apology of Variations» – an evening of piano music will be held in Ashgabat
On Tuesday, December 19, in the small hall of the special music boarding school at TNC. Maya Kuliyeva will host a solo concert by Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Vladimir Mkrtumov.
The evening of piano music, called The Apology of Variations, will present works by Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Brahms and Handel to art lovers. As the name suggests, at this concert the maestro will focus on variations, thereby bringing listeners closer to this fascinating technique.
It is also worth noting that this evening will not be the only meeting of listeners with the honored master – in addition to the capital, concerts will be held in the cities of Turkmenabad and Mary.
Schedule of performances:
• December 17, 10:00 — School of Arts (music college), Turkmenabad;
• December 17, 16:30 — special music school named after Elamana Hummayeva, Mary;
• December 19, 18:30 — small hall of the secondary special music boarding school named after Maya Kulieva.
Admission to all concerts are free.
