Turkmen boxers will take part in the international tournament in Kharkov

From 26th to 28th April Kharkov will host an international boxing tournament with participation of athletes from four countries - Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. Turkmenistan will be represented by ten boxers from different regions of the country: Jabar Meleev (49 kg), Zarip Jumaev (52 kg), Yakub Meredov (56 kg), Khursand Imankuliyev (60 kg), Mohammed Berdibayev (64 kg), Timur Tajimov (69 kg) , Nursahat Pazzyev (75 kg), Nuryagdy Nuryagdyev (81 kg), Arslanbek Achilov (91 kg) and Baky Toychiev (91+ kg). All of them are champions of Turkmenistan this year in their weight category. Also the competitions will have coaches of the Turkmen national team in boxing Saber Kseyikhanov and Alexander Lebzyak. - We believe in the success of our guys. Each of them has a good experience of participating in various international competitions," said Sabyr Kseikhanov. The high level of the athletes' skills and the great prospects of Turkmen boxing were marked by the stars of world sports - Olympic champion Oleg Saitov, world champion in mixed martial arts Oleg Taktarov and WBA and IBF champion Denis Lebedev - international observers at the national championship in February this year.
