BelTA: Lukashenko signed a decree declaring 2024 the Year of Quality
The year 2024 in Belarus has been declared the “Year of Quality,” BelTA reports.
The corresponding decree was signed by President of the Republic Alexander Lukashenko.
Particular emphasis within the Year of Quality will be placed on increasing the competitiveness of the Belarusian economy through the careful and rational use of resources and the implementation of high-tech and energy-intensive projects. Efforts will also be focused on strengthening social optimism in society and the desire to work for the common good. Priority attention is planned to be given to the formation of personal responsibility among citizens for achieving a high quality of life.
Alexander Lukashenko put forward the initiative to declare next year the Year of Quality in September of this year during a working trip to the Mogilev region.
