The foreign ministers of Turkmenistan and Turkey discussed topical issues of cooperation by phone


Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov had a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan on Thursday, November 23.
“During the negotiations, the parties discussed current topics of Turkmen-Turkish cooperation. At the same time, special attention was paid to the practical implementation of bilateral agreements reached at the highest state level,” the press release of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry notes.
The heads of the foreign ministries of Turkmenistan and Turkey agreed to maintain regular political dialogue, the diplomatic service added.
In October of this year, Hakan Fidan came to Ashgabat and was received by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who expressed confidence that the upcoming official visit to Turkey will open new pages of fraternal relations.
