Turkmen diplomat took part in a round table meeting in the Republic of Korea
Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Korea Begench Durdyev took part in a round table meeting on the creation of a Forum of think tanks from Central Asia and the Republic of Korea.
The initiator of the meeting was the Secretariat of the Cooperation Forum between the countries of Central Asia and the Republic of Korea. The participants were heads of diplomatic missions of Central Asian countries, experts and representatives of the scientific communities of Central Asian countries and Korea.
During the meeting, participants expressed solidarity in the need to create a platform for multilateral dialogue, within which think tanks and researchers from participating states will be able to discuss current issues of cooperation on the agenda.
The delegates also emphasized the positive development of the multilateral partnership between Central Asia and the Republic of Kazakhstan, achieved following the results of the 16th Cooperation Forum “Central Asia - Republic of Korea” recently held in the Turkmen capital.
At the end of the meeting, a Joint Statement was adopted on the start of the work of the Forum of Analytical Centers of the Central Asian Countries and the Republic of Kazakhstan. The first Forum is scheduled to be held next year in the Republic of Korea.
