The President of Turkmenistan approved the composition of the State Commission on Land Issues


The President of Turkmenistan approved the composition of the State Commission on Land Issues. The head of state signed a relevant resolution on Monday during a working meeting with regional leaders and the Deputy Prime Minister for Agro- Industrial Complex.
The activities of the State Commission are aimed at the rational and efficient use of the country’s land resources and regulation of land relations, as noted in the news release of the Turkmen State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.
During the meeting, the President was informed about the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns, in particular, about the ongoing collection of cotton, its sending for processing, and settlements with farmers for the harvest.
Seedlings are being cared for in the wheat fields, rice harvesting continues in the Dashoguz and Lebap regions, and sugar beets are being harvested in the Mary region. The land is being plowed for the future cotton sowing.
