The Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the UAE held talks at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a meeting with the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the United Arab Emirates Suheil Al-Mazroui, who is on a visit to Ashgabat.
During the conversation, issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed, as well as promising areas of cooperation were identified.
Rashid Meredov stressed the dynamic development of Turkmen-Emirati relations, which are based on mutual trust dialogue at the level of the top leadership of the two states.
In this regard, the importance of visits to the UAE by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov in November 2022, as well as the national leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in February this year was noted, the Foreign Ministry said.
The ministers exchanged views on expanding partnership in the oil and gas and chemical industries, the electric power industry, transport and communications and the banking sector, the ministry added.
