Collaboration against a backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic – the online conference topic
The online conference, organized by the China Peace Foundation, the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, the Beijing Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Sharaf Sustainable Development Fund, addressed important issues of interregional cooperation.
Egypt’s former Prime Minister Essam Sharaf, diplomats, experts, the Secretary General of the Beijing NGO Network for International Exchange, scientists, writers, public figures, representatives of Chinese organizations and institutions, business people of China discussed partnership amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, PRC cooperation with various regions of the world and the One Belt One Road initiative.
Speaking at the video forum, Parahat Durdyev, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the People’s Republic of China, emphasized that “the pandemic is a global challenge, therefore requiring the development of a long-term strategy of a universal nature”.
