Turkmenistan and Saudi Arabia have agreed on the date of the intergovernmental commission meeting


Turkmenistan and Saudi Arabia have agreed on the date of the next, 7th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.
During the negotiations at the level of members of the governments of the two countries, held online on Thursday, the implementation of the agreements reached during the working visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the kingdom to participate in the Summit of the heads of State of the Cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Gulf and Central Asian countries was considered.
As reported in the news release of the Turkmen State Television, the Minister of Investments of the KSA, appointed head of the Saudi side of the joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, said that an International Economic Forum would be held in the kingdom in December and invited Turkmenistan as an honorary guest to take part in this event, immediately after which to hold a meeting of the IPC. In order to resolve organizational issues in this regard, a Saudi delegation will visit Turkmenistan in the near future.
On behalf of Turkmenistan, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers in charge of the fuel and energy complex spoke at this online meeting. Among other topics touched upon during the conversation were the possibilities of expanding cooperation with the Saudi Development Fund.
