Serdar Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the project for the construction of the Agricultural University complex


President Serdar Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the city of Arkadag on Thursday, November 16, where he got acquainted with the projects for the construction of a complex of buildings of the Agricultural University and research institutes, and also held a working meeting with the heads of the relevant structures.
The chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan, Deryageldi Orazov, reported on the prepared projects to the head of state, presenting the master plan of the Turkmen Agricultural University and its complex of research and production sites, greenhouses, experimental fields, etc.

As reported in the news release of the Turkmen State Television and Radio Broadcasting, the Research Institute of Cotton Growing of the Ministry of Agriculture will be built in the Yolotan district of the Mary region, and the Research Institute of Grain Growing and Agriculture will be located in the city of Arkadag.
Thus, in the near future an academic agricultural cluster with a university and research institutes will be created in the city of Arkadag.

Deputy Prime Minister Tangryguly Atahalliyev also spoke with detailed information about the buildings, structures and other objects of the Agricultural University included in the complex.
In addition to the mentioned leaders, the working meeting, which was held by Serdar Berdimuhamedov, was also attended by the ministers of agriculture, environmental protection, the rector of the Turkmen Agricultural University, and the directors of research institutes of grain growing, agriculture, and cotton growing.

Giving instructions and instructions for the implementation of the new project, the President also emphasized that it is necessary to constantly pay attention to creating favorable working conditions for agricultural producers, including through increasing government purchase prices for cotton and grain to stimulate farmers, and ordered the preparation of proposals in this regard.
