Turkmenistan high school students took part in the Sakura Scientific Exchange program in Tokyo


Secondary school students of Turkmenistan took part in the Sakura scientific exchange program, which took place from November 4 to 11 in Tokyo, Japan.
Taking part in the event, Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Japan Atadurdy Bayramov noted that 2023 has been declared the Year of "Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar" in Turkmenistan, and the development of international youth activities is one of the main directions of the country's foreign policy, the Turkmen embassy in Tokyo reports.
The Sakura Science Program of the Japanese Agency of Science and Technology is a project that invites young people from other countries and regions to Japan to participate in exchanges in the field of science and technology with Japanese peers. The school component of this program is designed for high school students (and their teachers) and increasing their interest in Japanese science and technology, promoting the growth of talented human resources. During the week-long course, students participate in special classes from leading scientists, visit famous Japanese universities and research institutes, study Japanese cultural experience, etc.
